Del Rey started playing guitar at the age of four.  As a teenager, she met bluesman Sam Chatmon who inspired her to become a Blues Queen!  Her playing combines country blues and hillbilly boogie, and her live show is full of complex grooves and sly humor.  She is also a master of the ukelele and has produced four solo CDs at her label, Hobemian Records.  Del Rey is traveling from Seattle to play for us, so come out and show her that here on the East Coast we also love great live music!  "If you like your blues warm, wise, witty and well-played, give Del Rey a listen."
